Open hearts for children from Oncohematology

As part of the task of the second Fair Play Program, “Let’s do something good”, volunteers of the Fair Play Team from Sanok organised a very noble charity. It was the execution and donation of cards with poems and hearts, which were sent to children treated at the Oncohematology Clinic in Rzeszów.
The aim of the action was to send a little smile and joy to young, brave children. The educational and educational aspect was also important. Children, by putting their commitment and heart into doing plastic works and writing a “good word” shaped social sensitivity to helping other people.The action was organised on 28.10.2020.

The action of writing cards and creating hearts for sick children involved 26 young volunteers of the Fair Play Team from Sanok. 12 girls and 14 boys.Their task was to prepare materials and ornaments, help with the creation of works and create them.
The partners of the charitable action organised by the Sanok volunteers were Miłosz Kielar – director of the Tadeusz Kościuszko Primary School No. 3 in Sanok and the teacher of early school education – Beata Bazalińska and Ms Monika Wojdyła, who enabled their pupils to perform their work during classes and to help with their creation.
The leader of the Fair Play Team from Sanok and the initiator of volunteer activities is Renata Szmyd.

The charity campaign organised by the Sanok fair play volunteers supported and promoted 2 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.Objective No. 3- Good health and quality of life and Objective 10 – Less inequalities.
